This I ordered as a gift (for me from my spouse - so when it came he took it and hood it away for my Birthday -hence the late review) This Tribute Set is Amazing, it is from a Barbie Conference back in I think 2010, where that was the only way you could purchase it, and it has been signed by both of the designers, which to me makes it even more cool, whether it really increases the value or not, is not really of consequence, it make it more valuable to me. If you can find this set for a reasonable price and it is in good condition, if you are a serious collector it is a must have. Also the seller protected these double set girls better than I have ever see before. There were 3 layers of boxes and bubble wrap. So it is absolutely pristine and I can now display in my curio cabinet prominently since the seller was so extra safe in protecting it.Not to be a hatter specifically, but when it comes to Collectable Barbies, keeping them in good condition while you own it is prime, then the next is if you sell it you must send it as well protected as possible, if she comes damaged from poor packaging, any potential market value is gone, Not with this set- the protection. If you are reading this you are likely a collector. (this is the hatter part) You like most of us ordered in advance the William and Kate Wedding Set direct from Mattel. Mine came with a big green sticker from UPS stating it arrived at their shipping center open, and damaged!!!! Direct from Mattel, So I call, since I am a long time loyal customer, and am told by a supervisor that the best they can do for me is for me to return the damaged doll (huge dent in the front of the box - nothing in the open box to protect it from being shipped) and they would refund my money- obviously they could not get me another cuz it was sold out like 6 months prior. For a loyal customer, in my opinion, they should have been so apologetic, and refunded my money and let me keep the damaged doll which now will never even be worth purchase price. So Thank the lord for the peeps who take could care and ship very rare dolls as they should be!!!
